Nibblin Fishies!

hehehe i had an interesting mornin today! Mom decided to go to the Garra Rufa Fish Therapy on Telawi Street in Bangsar! we've heard bout it n decided to check it out la kan? so had breakfast in Nirvana's then headed there!

(btw, its located near Pelita, on Jln Telawi, facing the bungalows) so we were the 1st customers of the day, n the place was quite pretty! n the fishies were aplenty! so it costs RM38 for 30mins n me n my parents did tat la! so ur supposed to wash ur feet first, then stick them into the lil pond n all the tiny fishies will come n start nibblin gently at ur feet n leg to clean away all the dead skin cells!


haha at first it was quite ticklish, but oddly enuf, it starts to just tingle as they nibble away n doesn't hurt at all la of course!! hahah after a while it feels like u've stuck ur feet into a pool of bubbly bubbly water! hehe but of course there were quite a few times when the bigger fishies does it's work at the bottom of my feet, at a sensitive area n ill start laughin away! hahhahahahha i think the lady was quite amused!! it was soo fun tho! n strangely relaxing!

the fishies apparently nibble off dead skin cells, n they also produce enzymes tat help clear skin problems like eczema, n makes ur feet feel much cleaner n smoother! hehe at the end of the session, me n mom definately noticed tat our feet felt sooo much cleaner n smoother! =D thank u lil fishies!!

today is the 31st, n Baskin Robbins always has 31% discounts on every 31st of the month, do needed my dose of Choc Chip Cookie Dough Ice cream la, but went to the one in Bangsar n it was super packed, can u believe we had to take a number as well? crazy! so left la! then just now after dinner, wanna buy some from the outlet in Pyramid, n the bloody line is also longer!! :S
no ice cream for me.... :'(

The Hair Show!!

Ohhmyygoshh!!! WAT A SHOW!!!! *wata gwan!* hahaha! but holy shindangoes!! this Fashion show was definately the BIGGERST show this sem!! :) n im soo proud to have been a part of it!

took bout 4ish hours to get hair & make up done la! Theme: GOTHIC BRIDE! so Nikki, the stylist started straightenin my hair n i was gonna wear a simple lacy knee length black dress, but bout 1 1/2 hours before the show, he shows me a super cute 'short dress/i think its a kinky nightie' thingy n tried it on, n lo n behold! it was awesome! soo much better than the previous choice! whee i was happy!!

then the lecturer did half of my face wit super gothic make up (which i got a shock when i saw in the mirror!!) n some other girls did the rest of my face, while Nikki n some nice girls finished puttin my hair up, n adding a lacy veil hate thing-a-magig! just added the fishnet stockings n heels n ta-da!!!!! i WAS SCARILY FEROOCIOUSSSS!!!!

n there were the 'Headlines' show first, simple street fashion, then us, 3rd Sem student's models!! wheee!! the plaza was crowded ma!! thousands of students! (u know LimKokWing's plaza during lunch time!) n there were soo many lecturers, photogs n audience! I was definately pumped! so went n while was walkin, ferociously- of course, heard my awesome frens scream out "KEELLLSSEYYYYY!!!!!!!" ahhh!!

I FREAAKIN LOVE YOU GUYS!! THANKS SOO MUCH!! IT REALLY GAVE ME A BOOST!!

whee!! i LOVE being on the runway la! u get sooo nervous before hand, then while ur struttin it, the adrenaline rush i get is just....................... ahhhhhh!! LOVE IT! its thrilling!!

n also my dearest, TRISHA did the runway for the very 1st time n im proud to say tat other than lookin fan-ta-bu-lous, she ROCKED the runway!! whoooohooo!! go girl!!!

then got finale, n after tat took bloody lots of photos la! hahah ok ok, here are some! (caution: damn scary make up!)

hehe im happpy!! it was awesome! n the best part of the whole show! my darling ICKY was there to catch the whole thing n take pics!! :) love you pumpkin!

Of Juno u My Love

Been wanting to watch the movie, Juno for quite some time, n i finally watched it yesterday! wit my parents! lol!

Juno is about a 16 year old girl named, Juno (duh!) who becomes pregnants. She then chooses to find an adoptive family for her unborn child.. n basically this movie shows all the stuff n funnies that she faces!

i really liked this movie! i mean, it aint wat id call a 'great amazing movie' but its more of like, a sweet feel good movie! haha a dorky one too, while were at it! haha its chilled, n the music is fantastic tho! suits the movie soo much! n i have to say, Ellen Page's performance in this movie is outstanding! she plays the dorky, awkward, straight-forward pregnant teen so well! i think she received nominations for this.. but yeah! even my parents enjoyed this movie!

i also love Juno's parents man! wow! id so want such supportive parents man! they were a bit pissed wit her la, but ultimately they were quite cool n supportive bout her predicament! sigh.. parents... ;) anyway, if ur in the mood for a chilled out, sweet dorky cute movie on an afternoon, check this one out, k?

also me n Mal were arguing bout how many kids we want! sigh! as an only child, im pretty content wit a small family n i always planned to only have 2 kids la, i just like tat... this fella has 4 other bros n sisters n he wants 5 kids ma!!! HECCKK NOOO!!!!! i aint stretchin tat many times! i finally came to a compromise of 3 kids only. tats it. no more. and tats the bottom line! haha god, i love this boy to death la! i really do.. i just love how we are..

am quite sick too! bad sore throat, n a fever as a result of it! :S got my History of Art final exam tomoro! ickkk!! wish me luck! oh! n im also gonna be doing the Hair Show in college on the 29th of May! :) hehe the designer, Nikki is doing a whole 'Bridal Goth theme' on me! am excited!! there's a photoshoot after tat toO! :D

Indi & Kanyezziess!

So first off, i finally watched Indiana Jones today in GSC Signature Theather in the Gardens! :) RM20 for a ticket, but oh soo worth it as the seats r more comfy, huge theather n great sound n space! :) i absolutely loved the movie! lol! me n mommy were giggling to ourselves alot n at some parts, jumping up from our seats n screamin! hhhahha pity the ppl near us!



but seriously tho, its a GREAT movie! i mean, if u've grown up watchin Indiana Jones & The Last Crusades as much as I did, (once a month since i was 9 till 13!) i was really excited to catch this one! Harrison Ford reminds me of wine..gets better with age! lol! but yeah, he looks great for an old dude n moves quick too! hehehe! n Cate Blanchett did a good job wit this Russian role, never knew she had it in her.. and .........*drumroll please?* SHIA LeBEOUF!!!

i dont even have to say much.. he's acting skills seem to also have gotten better (c'mon men! u have to admit tat this kid has got skills!) n its just so evident that God must have spent alil more time on Shia... :p

watchin it again?? YOOUUUUUU BETCHAA!!!!

My new Love

My new love, DAVID COOk has won American Idol!! whooohooo!! finger n toes were all crossed in anticipation and nerves!! last nite after all the judges gave their 2 cents worth, i got scared, but as i watched the Finals results Live this mornin i honestly screamed when they announced tat Cook won!! n then the tears of joy came pouring out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im just so happy for him! he really deserves it la, i mean both do, but i just wanted Cook to win more! :) cant wait for him to make his 1st album!

had a random shoot wit Syameel yesterday for a fren, Shan who needed it for his assignment.. nothin major, wore all black wit black backgroudn n lightin! but still wanna see the pics! n next gonna do a 'glamour' shoot wit them... :)

I Don't Get it..

sighs..... i dont even know where to begin............................
if u've been readin my blog, u may remember me postin a piece on my cousin in New Zealand, Hannah who had a tumor in her brain... well like i said, she has been goin for Radiation n chemo n all tat jazz, n the whole family has been prayin for her continuously la....

well she finished her radiation and chemo bout 3-4 weeks ago i think n they finally did the scan today.... n.. yeah... we just found out tat the cancer in her brain has spread........
n the doctors have pretty much estimated her time left............... :( not gonna say how long, but i just dont get it la...

she's only just turned 18 a few months ago.. n she had received a scholarship to study....

now they cant do anything anymore.. they cud never operate, its too deep in the brain n wud be fatal.. but now she's dying.... sigh.. wat do i say now??

and oh yes..... a few years ago, my uncle was diagnosed wit Lung cancer, n he doesn't even smoke, but he worked as a contractor at a cement factory n apparently all the dust aggravated it la.. but he had surgeries n treatments done, n he came out of it.. so he was doin fine these couple of years, he takes very good care of himself, takes medicine n has check-ups often..

but a few weeks ago, he started feelin sick n had to be admitted in the Intensive Care Unit n after the doctors did scans apparently the cancer had come back n this time it spread to his heart n they pretty much cant do anything anymore.......................................................

i dont get this either............. wat the heck man? he had regular check ups!! are u tellin me tat the doctors didnt see this coming?? were they negligent???? sigh... i dont get it la..

all we can still do is continue to support and pray.. and i ask of you to please pray for them too.. please continue to pray for Hannah & my uncle David..... we need all the prayers we can get...

its times like these tat some ppl start to question God n why he's lettin this happen.. well.. i dont get why this is happenin, n do i think its unfair? YES i DO think it is... but, i know that my God is an Awesome God... n he has a plan.... perhaps its to bind our whole family together n to make us realize to not take our lives or each other for granted as we always do.... i dunno..i dunno his plan....... wtv it is, i dont know why God is doing this, but all i know is that he is definately puttin this family thru this because he knows tat we'll get thru it... n we also know tat he'll never let us walk alone, God will take us thru it...........
pardon me for the morbid post.. but i think it is neccesary... please pray.. n never lose faith...

was sittin on my bed, up straight last nite at around 10.30 ish ish la, when all of a sudden. felt my bed tilt upwards a bit.. not alot, but a bit. ..FROZE.. i was NOT dreamin n didnt imagine it an earthquake tremor!

n true enuf, newspapers confirmed it this mornin, apparently there had been an earthquake in Sumatra yesterday, bout a 6.1 on the Richter scale, n ppl in the Klang Valley felt it too! n my mom also felt it! i have not lost my mind! it wasnt big tremor here in Malaysia la, of course.. but nonetheless, freaky stuff ennit?

oh well, im off to watch INDIANA JONES: THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL in awhile! jealous yet? heheh grew up watchin The Last Crusades (3rd movie) bout once a month since i was 8 till 13,s o got tat memorized! im excited n to add to the excitement!! SHIA LeBOEUF!! whoohoo! ;)

An Obsession?

hmm.. i have no idea why, but I've always had an obsession for lingerie.. seriously~

i just love love LOVE browsing thru the lingerie sections at stores and also online! my fav brands definately is Victoria Secret (nuff said!) and LaSenza! as well as Marks & Spencers!

i think lingerie just gives us tat special sumn! just bcoz u like lingerie doesnt make u any kinkier or wtv, tat all comes from within, literally! u may be suprised at how some of the most prim n properly dressed women cud be wearin some of the most provocative and/or gorgeous & expensive lingerie on the inside! it gives women pride and a boost of confidence knowing tat they know this lil secret tat the rest of the world doesnt! ;P

anyhow, even tho i dont have much to put into a bra, i still go crazy over 'em n have quite alot, suprisingly! lol! n a ton MORE panties, ranging from comfy cotton, cute boyshorts, sexy satin, lacey numbers, thongs.. etc! ugh! u gotta love em! n was browsing thru LaSenza's site today, found some nice ones! (p/s: Victoria's Secret site is temporarily unavailable so was unable to feast my eyes! :S )

We Rocked Your World!

Today our Malaysian Studies drama group had to do a lil sketch as a presentation la, n omijesus...... we brought the house down! lol! our's was super funny n basically the story contained a grandma tellin the story of a Sultan n his 6 wives ( p/s i was the 1st wife - the glamorous one wit a french accent! lol!) n hollyy!! we had the crowd n our lecturers laughin the whole time!!

N u know wat?? sumn recorded it n while we were watchin it, a guy who was in the audience, asked if he cud get a copy of the Drama! ahhhhh!!! n they lecturers wanted copies of them too! N the best part was tat the lecturer gave us 15 out of 10 marks!! WHOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!

n ahhh! wat a great day! we had such a great group n im SO SO proud of our teamwork! :D yay u guys!! :)

ahh... how great life is to have David Cook in the world... :) i admit that i have been enchanted- mind, body & spirit by this amazing American Idol contestant! He really shud win this time, i do think both David Archuletta & David Cook are great, but Cook just does it for me la.. just does it..

tomoro we also have our Malaysian Studies drama thingy n its gonna be soooo funny!! hahha will follow up to tat!

n guess wat??? i got a call from Deepa this mornin to be one of the models for her Events Management Project! whoohooo!! its this Thursday at LimKokWing Uni's Plaza at 1! so be there!! :) im super excited n nervous too! :/ but prayin tat it'll all be alrite! lol!

on another note, i've always been told tat im a real monkey (kris; sssshhhhh!!!) haha i LOVED climbin anything when i was younger! i would climb the swings, the roof of my house, n i loved climbin the tree at my grandma's n pluckin rambutans till she yelled at me to come down! lol!

n summore climbed the edge of the rooftop tat day wit KG! (hehe!) n yesterday i got into 1 of my best elements, stretching! whoohooo!! splits la, bridges, scorpions, toe touches, hangin upside down from the monkey bars..

basically reallyy really built up my upper body la, n this mornin i had the best pain ever! the aching soreness all over my body from exercising, ohhh but i love this pain! i love knowin tat i put my muscles to good work n now, i swear! i've defined my abs even more.. but it hurts like hell la to move! let alone laugh! lol!

my neck hurts, my arms, my torso, my thighs, my BUM!! ahh! hhahahha

The Workshop Shoot & Indos!

Phew! what a great weekend this was!

Saturday started off wit a too-long put off photoshoot wit the amazing Bibo Aswan!! (cue applause!) ;p we've been always puttin off the shoots since... Jan? n finally we got to 'Round 2!' lol!

So we shot at a cool car mechanic workshop nearby, n the location was just so fun la! i wore slacks, black tank top, suspenders n indie-rock checkered scarf! phoo!! we started wit the back n just shot wit dif scenaries - chicken, sky, cage, car, n i have to say, i was thoroughly enjoyin myself!! its always a pleasure to work wit Bibo! :) n im so happy wit the results! nyeh!

oh! n he said he'd be also displayin some of his collections at a photography exhibition! its at Pasar Seni on the 21st of May i think... :)

later met up wit my bestie, Farah n we had mucho fun chillin! :) im gonna miss her so much when she leaves to the US in August...

n today, was pretty rad! went to Desaria ( the limkokwing hostel) for the entire day to rehearse wit my fav Indonesian clan! our group's Malaysian History drama.. 1st off supposed to start at 10am, but everyone only turned up at 12 ish n we started @ 1.

Highlights of the day was:

- hangin upside down from the monkey bars, doin my splits, bridges, scorpions & toe touches,

-teachin michael & cathy how to hang n the toe touches

-almost gettin thrown into the pool by Taps

-slappin him repeteadly wit my flip-flops, biting his leg n kickin him in the balls! haha

-runnin n screamin in Des

-Alia fallin off the chair! lol!

-findin out how Michael entertains himself! lol!! GROSS! haha

a really great but tyring day! :) much love to this Indonesian clan! i LOVE YOU guys!!

And wow! i've just been watchin some videos of a crazy-to-the-point-of-psychotic-brilliant contortionist! her name is Irina Kazakova and im not sure where she's from but hooollyyy shindagos man!! that girl can bend! watch this vid! its soo incredible! (its only 3 mins long)

so i finally finished my Newsletter assignment for Design Studies, and the stupid Secret Life of Walter Mitty assignment for Comm. Studies! thank God!

you know recently my boyfriend went a lil bonkers on me.. hahaha its actually something really extremely sweet, n funny n cute NOW but i tell u, tat day when it actually happened i think i freaking blew a vessel!! i swear!!

u know i went for a movie premier of Speed Racer on Tues, n i had to switch my hp off n give it in la, all of us, n i had told him before tat im goin for the movie at 7 pada halnya to collect the tickets la, movie only starts at 9, so i even called him at 7ish, n during dinner, at 8.15, i msged him la, but got no reply, i got a bit pissed but wtv la.. so switched off the phone n went in.

came out of the cinema 2 1/2 hours later havin had a great time, n when my family got our phones back, i had 50 miss calls from him, Misha & my grandma, my mom had 13, n dad had 6ish, we FURREAKED OUT!! thought sumn happened to my grandparents till i saw tat even my mom had miss calls from Icky.. i knew it.. called him back n u know wat tat boy thought????

The boy thought tat the movie started at 7 n freaked when he cudnt get thru to me, so called my fren to call my mom n my house n since didnt get any replies,he had thought that we were in a bad car accident, or sumn had kidnapped us so he freaked n drove all over for 2 hours, checkin the streets for accidents n even went to the Police Stations and Hospitals to ask whether there had been any accidents involvin a family of 3.. HAIYOOO!!!!!

n they even called my grandma n all tat.. omyjesus.... Sayang dearest, i love you and all, n i know tat u really thought i had died or got kidnapped but.... hahahahha i dont even know wat to say now! hahah i was soo angry la at tat time for causing all the panic n all, but after we talked bout it, i saw the sweetness! :) cant believe he actually drove all around n checked hosps, n police stations n called ppl... hahha love you la babe, but next time relax k? *muaxxxx*
