We Ate, Ate, Ate

Mmmmm now tats the feeling of satisfaction! Yesterday, we had this real big do at my grandma's house for my Aunt from New Zealand, Hemachi, n the a LOAD of family was there along with a HUGE TRUCKFULL of food! I swear!

ok well maybe not a literall truck, but ud need a van to carry all tat food! phew!! it was awesome possum man!!

I mean, I absolutely LOVE family gatherings, all my crazy aunts, uncles, cousins, all come together n we go crackers together! lol! its always me running around, gettin the food there on the table, helping out, helpin wit drinks, n anything I can. N its saying hi n catching up wit relatives n all tat jazz.. always fun! then lets come to the food.

ZOMG! there was just tons la, im not even kidding! There was:

*Best Pork Ribs ever!**Chicken & Pork Devil's Curry*

* The entire works!!! FEAST!!*

-of course my favourite Pork Ribs (hehe Kris!!) tat we always beg my aunt to make, rice, putu mayam, sodhi, chicken, mutton, devil's curry chicken& pork, beans, mamak mee, mihun, lasagna...........

* Deserts*

-i made bread pudding, n there was coconut cake, kuih, kesari, grapes.......

oh seriously it was a FEAST i tell U! I started eating from like 8, n only finish at almost 9! haha had a few helpings n by the end of the night, I was realllyyyy STUFFED to the brim!

all of the aunts were in the hall n all of us were sitting there like beached whales, with the look of over-eating n satisfaction on our faces from all tat food! haha! n the uncles were outside, drinkin n I was popping grapes into their whiskies! hahahhaha! :P all the food+alcohol+merriments= Bliss in this family! :)

So all in all, a great nite, think my aunt needed so see that we're all here for her.... Wish Uncle Roydon was here too, but he went back already.. we spent such a good time together on Friday morning n afternoon.. Met them n the other school kids, n took them round KLCC, Pavillion, Bukit Bintang n Sungei Wang, so tat was really nice..

I really need to go to New Zealand for Christmas la.. I really want to.. god I miss Hannah so much.. she wud have loved being here.

Strawberry Fields

So today was a bad day- turned Good!! :)


I had to go to college for a replacement class and for some reason I thought that it was at 9.30. so when i got to class n saw no one, i started bitchin la, complainin bout our stupid lecturer and called a fren, n then i saw Taps at the corridor, so we started talkin.. THEN it hit me- Class was at 2.......... 0_0 i banged my head against the wall. sigh

so didnt wanna drive all the way back home, n I ended up chillin at the plaza wit Taps, and we talked and talked about anything and EVERYTHING! haha from relationships to class, to family and love, and music and movies and Zimbabwe and EVERY thing! hahhahahha it was soo good! we sat there from 10am - 2pm!! felt great to chill with one of my closest frens in college, since I havent seen him much.. :)

then went to class to see tat crap lecturer, who still is crap coz she thinks we're 12years old. wtv.





came home and indulged in HUMONGOUSAURUS strawberries!! largest I've ever seen, by far!! :) n htey were super yummy n sweet!! :) oh I LOVE Strawberries!


tried to stain my lips wit them n make it all red but it didnt work. all i did was get bits of strawberry stuck between my teeth! hehehehe!

Foodness!

I had an incredible dinner! unfortunately i didnt bring my camera to take pics but i'll make it quick!

Went to a great Chinese Restaurant in Jaya33 (think its Oriental sumn) n its huge!! n had dinner wit parents n uncle n aunt n their frens! n we ate a 6-course Chinese dinner! it was fab!! *Kris, wished u were there, honestly!

Here's a list of wat we ate! ahhh it was great!

-Peaking Duck (the best i've ever had!)
-Supreme Braised Sharksfin Soup
-Steamed & Deep Fried Bawal Fish
-Mushroom, Abalone & Sea Cucumber in oyster sauce
-Ginger Jumbo Prawns
-Stir-Fried Duck in Lettuce

oh it was just yummy! :) am stuffed~

one of the best parts of the dinner was when they started talkin bout all the best foods n all tat! lol! we were being the TRUE TYPICAL MALAYSIANS!!! hahahahahah! seriously! from things like; where to get the best curry laksa, to the best wan tan mee n everything!!! hahahah this went on for like 1 hour n u know, i loved every minute of it!

Being Malaysian n talking bout our number 1 passion- Food is just always awesome la! it never gets old! =D ain't that right peeps?
