The Workshop Shoot & Indos!

Phew! what a great weekend this was!

Saturday started off wit a too-long put off photoshoot wit the amazing Bibo Aswan!! (cue applause!) ;p we've been always puttin off the shoots since... Jan? n finally we got to 'Round 2!' lol!

So we shot at a cool car mechanic workshop nearby, n the location was just so fun la! i wore slacks, black tank top, suspenders n indie-rock checkered scarf! phoo!! we started wit the back n just shot wit dif scenaries - chicken, sky, cage, car, n i have to say, i was thoroughly enjoyin myself!! its always a pleasure to work wit Bibo! :) n im so happy wit the results! nyeh!

oh! n he said he'd be also displayin some of his collections at a photography exhibition! its at Pasar Seni on the 21st of May i think... :)

later met up wit my bestie, Farah n we had mucho fun chillin! :) im gonna miss her so much when she leaves to the US in August...

n today, was pretty rad! went to Desaria ( the limkokwing hostel) for the entire day to rehearse wit my fav Indonesian clan! our group's Malaysian History drama.. 1st off supposed to start at 10am, but everyone only turned up at 12 ish n we started @ 1.

Highlights of the day was:

- hangin upside down from the monkey bars, doin my splits, bridges, scorpions & toe touches,

-teachin michael & cathy how to hang n the toe touches

-almost gettin thrown into the pool by Taps

-slappin him repeteadly wit my flip-flops, biting his leg n kickin him in the balls! haha

-runnin n screamin in Des

-Alia fallin off the chair! lol!

-findin out how Michael entertains himself! lol!! GROSS! haha

a really great but tyring day! :) much love to this Indonesian clan! i LOVE YOU guys!!

And wow! i've just been watchin some videos of a crazy-to-the-point-of-psychotic-brilliant contortionist! her name is Irina Kazakova and im not sure where she's from but hooollyyy shindagos man!! that girl can bend! watch this vid! its soo incredible! (its only 3 mins long)

so i finally finished my Newsletter assignment for Design Studies, and the stupid Secret Life of Walter Mitty assignment for Comm. Studies! thank God!

you know recently my boyfriend went a lil bonkers on me.. hahaha its actually something really extremely sweet, n funny n cute NOW but i tell u, tat day when it actually happened i think i freaking blew a vessel!! i swear!!

u know i went for a movie premier of Speed Racer on Tues, n i had to switch my hp off n give it in la, all of us, n i had told him before tat im goin for the movie at 7 pada halnya to collect the tickets la, movie only starts at 9, so i even called him at 7ish, n during dinner, at 8.15, i msged him la, but got no reply, i got a bit pissed but wtv la.. so switched off the phone n went in.

came out of the cinema 2 1/2 hours later havin had a great time, n when my family got our phones back, i had 50 miss calls from him, Misha & my grandma, my mom had 13, n dad had 6ish, we FURREAKED OUT!! thought sumn happened to my grandparents till i saw tat even my mom had miss calls from Icky.. i knew it.. called him back n u know wat tat boy thought????

The boy thought tat the movie started at 7 n freaked when he cudnt get thru to me, so called my fren to call my mom n my house n since didnt get any replies,he had thought that we were in a bad car accident, or sumn had kidnapped us so he freaked n drove all over for 2 hours, checkin the streets for accidents n even went to the Police Stations and Hospitals to ask whether there had been any accidents involvin a family of 3.. HAIYOOO!!!!!

n they even called my grandma n all tat.. omyjesus.... Sayang dearest, i love you and all, n i know tat u really thought i had died or got kidnapped but.... hahahahha i dont even know wat to say now! hahah i was soo angry la at tat time for causing all the panic n all, but after we talked bout it, i saw the sweetness! :) cant believe he actually drove all around n checked hosps, n police stations n called ppl... hahha love you la babe, but next time relax k? *muaxxxx*

Speed Racer to the TOPS!

whooooooaaaaaaaaaa myyyy goosshhh!!! i have just watched.... the, craziest n coolest n ahhhh-tastic movie ever!!! SPEED RACER!!!!!!!!! hahhahah



ok ok so i was in a real crappy mood b4 the movie, exhausted, stressed n very PMS-y la.. was soo not in the mood for any movie, but me & dad had won exclusive premier tickets to catch SPEED RACER tonite, n it was damn big la.. everyone had to give in their phones to security, body scans n bag checks since the offiacial release of the movie is on the 9th of May..

so the movie starts ok, 3rd minute in, the scene outside the school came on n i FLIPPED OUT!! oh my goodness!!! i've never in my long-lived life have ever seen a movie like tat! it was like, cartoonish- but real movie.. as in it had loads of cool graphics! it lookes like a real vid game! n they shot bout 97% of the video in front of a green screen coz of the graphics! wanna catch the makin of this movie, shud be interesting!



haha i dunno if u can tell la, but prolly from my blog skins n all tat, its pretty obvious tat i freakin LOVE colors!! the brighter n more colorful, the better n tats exactly wat this movie had!! colooorss!! :) oh its starring Emile Hirsh as Speed, Nicholas Elia as young Speed, Christina Ricci as Trixie, and also Susan Sarandon, John Goodman, Michael Fox & Rain.. wheeeee!!


this movie just kept me smiling the whole time! it was funny too! hehe n i was on the edge of my seats in excitement n i swear i was about to start leaping bout n clappin in the cinema but had to restrain myself! lol! in the end, ppl gave an applause! :)



i think tat i can fully see tat there's gonna be lots n lots of ppl out there who WONT LIKE this movie.. yeah its true tat it is definately NOT the best script or best movie ever.. but.. there's something about it which truly captured me fully and im still completely bouncin off the walls in excitement! the inner child in me is awake again! n lets just say the racing in this movie is bloody insane!! defies some physics laws la, but still soo freakin awesome! ahh! soo watchin it again!

so catch it PLEASE if u can! n DONT WATCH IT ON DVD, CATCH IT IN THE CINEMAS! soo worth it as graphics are great! but like i said la.. u may end up hating it, or thinkin its ok or maybe ull be as happy as me.. i just ahhh.. :D *gleeeee*

oh! n i also had a small photoshoot wit KG today n it was fun!! we shot on the rooftop of LimKokWing Uni n it was real chilled n managed to get some pretty rad shots! :D here's his Flickr link for more!

Teen Queens Gone Wrong?

So wat ever went wrong wit some of the teen queens back then? was just talkin to KG today, n was tellin him bout the Lindsay Lohan -Marilyn Monroe shoot coz he didnt know bout it n i loved wat he said! hahha

i asked, "wats wit all these celebs nowadays doin all the nude shoots la?"

n he says, " Oh dont u know? Nude is the new hair!" hahahhahah u crack me up all the time Kums! ;p

if u still havent heard bout this shoot, basically Lindsay Lohan recreated a shoot which Marilyn Monroe did right before she died, its called The Last Sitting for the New York Magazine

also, i think Miley Cyrus is super cute n she's turnin more n more beautiful every day! but wats wit this shoot for Vanity Fair Magazine? personally i think tat all the buzz is a bit OTT, i guess its just coz she's still only 16.. n also an icon to millions of young girls.. but ok la, at least make the shoot look good, but this looks bad! eekk i dont like this shot!

oh well! i have a shoot wit KG tomoro (it was very very last minute n super random) n im gonna be in my braids n all boho-island girl type! whheeeeeee!!! im excited!!

AND!!! i also have a shoot wit Bibo on Saturday!!! (finally! Round 2!;p ) wither doing a Raw Beauty shoot or he mentioned a 'high-fashion colorful one wit paint on the body!' sounds exciting too!! im nervous as usual! but hope it'll be great! :D

Im DYING WIT ASSIGNMENTS!!!!!!!!!!! arrrggghhhh!!! n today's Life Drawing test was completely bullcrap man! wtf are the lecturers thinkin torturing us like tat?? we had to draw 2 humans (male models) n they were sitting ON chairs , ON a big platform, ON 3 freaking tables n we have to draw everything..... ishhh....... geramnya!!

so im gonna get back to work! ta!

Phuket, Thailand!!

Wheee!!! i got back from an AMAZING holiday in Phuket! it was soo wonderful n i honestly had a great time there!!

it's always been a dream of mine to go to Phuket, but actually, i was supposed to go there in Christmas time in 2004.. everything was booked n all tat but suddenly my uncle asked me n my family to celebrate X'mas in Australia, so we went instead.. n it was on tat morbid day of the 26th of Dec 04 tat the Tsunami had struck South & South East Asia.. n Phuket was one of the badly affected places wit many deaths... so i guess it was God who had other plans for me n my family..

But anyways, we finally went n it was so fun! Stayed in Patong Beach where theres a lot of nite life, a great beach n stuff to see! walked around alot n shopped n bought some really pretty beach dresses n knick-knacks for super cheap! (ahhhh my wonderful bargainin skills!;p) n also stuffed ourselves silly wit amazing Thai food! yumm! (tom yum krung everyday n seafood!!)

Also went island hoppping to Khai Nui & Khai Nuk Islands where we lay at the beach, sunned ourselves (well i slapped on loads of sunblock to make sure i DONT tan! :S) n snorkelled!! whoohooo!! it was fun!! got to see cute fishies n my fav rainbow ones too! :D

We also went to the elusive SIMON CABARET show!! whoooaa!! hhahah if u've never heard of it, lemme tell u! the show is a cabaret show, wit dances n amazing costumes n lip sinching n watnots.. the catch it.. they are all LADY BOYS!! haha!!Transexuals who have had full reconstructive sugeries.. meanin gergeous boobies, no male private parts, hormone treatment.. etc.. but omg i tell u the show was great! some of them do look like lady boys but i tell u..some of themm......

if u saw them, ud not in a million years think tat they're lady boys! i swear! some looked sooo friggin pretty n had GORGEOUS bodies!! like boobs look great, slim washboard abs, loongg lean legs, n super sweeettt pretty faces! i cudnt take my eyes of a particular one.. she (or he!) was so pretty.. i was ga-ga until i heard the voice... hmm.. now tat was def potong steam la.. but if u ever go to Phuket, u HAVE TO CATCH THIS SHOW!!! its really great!

oh n on another note! i got my hair braided n a henna tattoo done! n my mom got a real tattoo! lol! yeah! she's been wanting one for a while n she got a Sun on her back! wit color too! its looks pretty n simple! :P still am in shock tat she actually got it.. she usually chickens out! :)

oh n alsoo! hahahah check it out! i won the family a "Free Accomadation for 1 week in a Phuket Hotel!" hhahahhahhah! dead serious! we were walkin to the beach n this dude stopped us to do a scratch n win contest n my dad got a T-Shirt n i managed to win a freakin holiday! lol! so its valid for 1 year n guess we'll be goin again next year! :D im psyched!! :D

all in all, i had a wonderful time there! n will be posting more stuff soon! :) just bought Juno! am gonna watch it! :D
